From now on, it’s discount cards in place of book vouchers

KUALA LUMPUR: The Govern­ment has scrapped the book voucher scheme for tertiary students as it has apparently been misused for years.

In its place will be the beefed-up Kad Diskaun Siswa 1Malaysia (KADS1M), which is being marketed by the Domestic Trade, Coope­ra­tives, and Consumerism Ministry through Bank Rakyat.
