KUCHING: Puan Sri Jamilah Anu’s landslide win in the Tanjong Datu by-election is a vote of confidence from the people for the leadership of Datuk Amar Abang Johari Tun Openg as Sarawak’s sixth chief minister.
Sarawak Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas said the result, where Jamilah recorded an increased majority, had shown that confidence remained high for Abang Johari’s effort to continue the legacy of his predecessor Tan Sri Adenan Satem.
