Bullet casings found at shooting sites


PADANG BESAR: A total of 73 bullet casings were recovered along the Malaysia-Thailand border security area where a police corporal had randomly opened fire using two M-16 rifles.

Perlis CID chief Supt Azhar Muda said the 34-year-old policeman, who was attached to the 1st Battalion of the General Operations Force in Ulu Kinta, Perak, fired randomly in five locations over a distance of about 800m along the border.
