KOTA KINABALU: Nine Malaysian anglers and five crewmen were rescued after the engine of their catamaran stalled in Pulau Sulug in waters near here.
Their ordeal began when the engine of their two-level catamaran stopped working on Monday afternoon and water started to seep into the vessel later that night, said Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) Kota Kinabalu director First Admiral Adam Aziz.
