Rohingya aid ship's bosun Buddy Oktavian Ahmad Adnan, 33, raising the Myanmar flag on the starboard rope at the top of the Nautical Aliya. According to maritime law, foreign ships entering ports have to raise that country's flag on a starboard rope, while the flag of the ship's country of origin have to be placed on the port country's left.
ANDAMAN SEA: The Rohingya aid ship Nautical Aliya dropped anchor Wednesday near the Myanmar shore, some 90km south of Yangon at 10pm local time (11.30pm, Malaysian time).
It is currently waiting for a Myanmar navy pilot to guide the ship from the Andaman Sea to Yangon Port on Thursday morning.
