KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah Health Department has denied any outbreak of typhoid in the east coast Tawau district though there was one case involving death.
There were only sporadic cases of typhoid in the district and not an outbreak as claimed by viral messages spread through social media including WhatsApp, said the department’s director Dr Christina Rundi.
