Jamilah’s son meets the people

Touching encounter: Azizul (centre) and Dr Sim greeting an emotional woman during the walkabout in Lundu.

LUNDU: The usually quiet town broke into a hive of activity when the youngest son of Puan Sri Jamilah Anu, the Barisan Nasional candidate for the Tanjong Datu by-election, went on a walkabout to campaign on behalf of his mother.

He went from shop to shop, shaking hands and exchanging greetings with traders and other residents, and most importantly, bringing them his mother’s campaign message.
