Education Ministry denies circular on drug-laced candy in schools

NILAI: Deputy Education Minister Datuk Chong Sin Woon (pix) has denied that the Education Ministry issued a circular on the sales of drug-laced candy in schools which went viral on social media recently.

He said the allegation was fake and stressed that to date, the ministry had not received any complaint pertaining to the sales of the strawberry-flavoured sweets at any school.
