KUALA LUMPUR: As always, the MCA Chinese New Year open house attracted a large crowd, including foreigners who have made Malaysia their second home.

The crowd at the open house held on the first day of the Lunar New Year included interpreter Godfrey Harris, 35, who has lived here for five years and said the Chinese New Year celebrations never failed to amaze him.
