BAGAN DATUK: Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, in saying that the contribution of the Chinese community to the national economy cannot be denied, has called for close cooperation among the races.

“We want to continue this partnership and must set aside problems. The Chinese must continue to cooperate with the Malays, Indians and the people of Sabah and Sarawak,” the Deputy Prime Minister said at a Chinese New Year event here on Saturday night.
