PETALING JAYA: The Kelantan Forestry Department should be protecting its forests as well as the way of life of Malaysia’s indigenous population, said Kelantan MCA state liaison committee secretary Datuk Lua Choon Hann.
Referring to his experiences with the Crisis Relief Squad of MCA as its chairman, Lua recounted how the orang asli in the interior were “literally cut off from civilisation” during the 2014 Kelantan floods.
