GEORGE TOWN: A consumers’ association has lodged a report with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) over donations collected from the public during the Thaipusam celebrations over the past 162 years.
Penang Consumer Protection Society president Datuk K. Koris Atan said he made the report to have the Nattukotai Chettiar Temple trustees investigated as the local Indian NGOs wanted to know what had happened to the donations.
