Najib, 1MDB apply to strike out Zaid Ibrahim's suit

KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) have applied to strike out a civil action filed by former Cabinet minister Datuk Zaid Ibrahim against him and two others.

Najib's lawyer Nor Hazira Abu Haiyan said that the Prime Minister was applying to strike out the civil action on grounds that Zaid has no legal standing to bring the action against her client.
