KOTA KINABALU: Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) has welcomed Datuk Johari Abdul Ghani's pledge to issue a tax exemption order for religious institutions registered with the Registrar of Societies (RoS).
PBS secretary-general Datuk Johnny Mositun (pic) said the Second Finance Minister's decision should put to rest any fears that churches, temples and religious institutions in the country would have to start paying taxes.
