KOTA KINABALU: Sabah escaped with no damage to buildings because of the depth of Tuesday’s strong 7.3-magnitude earthquake in the Celebes Sea.
When earthquakes take place in deep sea, geologist Prof Dr Felix Tongkul said the intensity dilutes as it rises up to the sea surface.
