PETALING JAYA: Perkasa should not mistake MCA’s stance against the proposed amendments to the Syariah Courts (Criminal Jurisdiction) Act 1965, otherwise known as Act 355, as discrimination, said Datuk Seri Ong Ka Chuan (pic).
The MCA secretary-general said the party’s view on the matter was purely based on a “principled argument towards upholding the integrity of the Federal Constitution”.
