KUALA LUMPUR: MCA has voiced protest against PAS' planned mega rally to promote amendments to the Syariah Courts (Criminal Jurisdiction) Act 1965.
Party president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai (pix) said that the rally, tagged as Himpunan RUU355, after the Bahasa Malaysia abbreviation of the Bill, could cause disunity among the races, and called the Bill "divisive" at best.
