Fires burning on the top floor of the shoplots in Miri City

MIRI: A 20-year-old woman died after she reportedly jumped from the top floor of a three-storey shoplot to escape a fire here at 8pm Friday.

Huong Shi Fung, who was renting a room, died at the Miri Hospital from head injuries sustained in the fall.
