PETALING JAYA: It is "ridiculous" that Lim Kit Siang continues to question MCA's stand on Barisan Nasional's takeover of the amended Private Member's Bill on the Syariah Court (Criminal Jurisdiction) Act, despite MCA stating it many times before, says Datuk Chai Kim Sen (pic).

In a statement on Wednesday, Chai reminded Lim that MCA president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai, on Dec 30, 2016, had declared that "regardless of any Bill tabled by the Opposition or Umno, if it is against the Constitution, MCA will oppose it to the end".
