KLANG: People adopting children should ensure they have the details of the biological parents so there won’t be any doubts over the children’s nationality status.
Klang MCA Public Service and Complaints deputy chief Datuk Tan Bok Koon said he had received numerous cases where parents faced obstacles when applying for their adopted children’s Mykad. This was because they did not have any information about their children’s biological parents.
