KOTA KINABALU: A local man and a Filipino woman were sentenced to 30-months jail and slapped a fine of RM10,000 for their involvement in a major fake identity card syndicate in Tawau.
The Tawau Magistrate’s Court meted out the sentence after Brahim Awang Anak, 51, and Ateng Jalil, 30, were found guilty of possession of fake Malaysian identity cards.
