KOTA KINABALU: Security forces in Sabah’s east coast are keeping the sea borders with southern Philippines under surveillance as another kidnap-for-ransom group is said to be on the prowl in the Sulu Sea.
Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Abdul Rashid Harun said police were aware of the latest kidnapping of four Filipino fishermen in the southern waters of Sulu Seas but so far, Malaysian security forces had not spotted the group near the sea border.
