60 prosecution witnesses to testify in Penang CM’s trial

GEORGE TOWN: Some 60 prosecution witnesses are expected to be called to testify during the 34-day corruption trial of Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng between March and July next year.

In fixing the trial dates, High Court Justice Hadhariah Syed Ismail also ordered the prosecution to complete the 35 volumes of documents related to the case – comprising over 13,000 pages – and submit them by Jan 6.
