Expressway to be closed tomorrow for investigation


GEORGE TOWN: A stretch of Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway heading to the Penang Bridge will be closed to traffic from 10.30am to 5pm tomorrow for police to carry out forensic investigation into the fatal shooting case that occurred last Thursday.

George Town OCPD Asst Comm Mior Faridalathrash Wahid said the stretch heading towards the bridge from George Town would be closed from the entrance to the flyover near the Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu-Jalan Ahmad Nor junction from 10.30am to 2pm while the turnoff to the bridge would be closed until 5pm.
