KUALA LUMPUR: MCA, together with Chinese guilds and associations, will set up a legal committee to look into the proposed amendments to the Syariah Courts (Criminal Jurisdiction) Act 1965.
Party president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai said the amendments would have serious implications on the country’s legal system and affect all races.
