Rehda: Not feasible to have third party monitor construction sites now

KUALA LUMPUR: Having a third party monitor construction projects in the country may not be so feasible at this point in time, says the Real Estate And Housing Developers’ Association (Rehda).

Its past president Datuk Seri Michael Yam said the proposal by Works Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof to achieve fewer construction site accidents, following the KL Eco City pedestrian bridge collapse was good, but said having another monitor could raise a cost-benefit issue.
