PETALING JAYA: The Education Ministry is responsible for providing the land for the construction of base stations called 1BestariNet Receiver Integrated System (1BRIS) towers at no charge.
In a statement, YTL Communications Sdn Bhd (YTLC), the appointed service provider for the 1BestariNet project, said the company had proposed to erect the 1BRIS telecommunication towers at strategic locations within selected school compounds at its own cost.
