KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court has struck out a habeas corpus application by Bersih 2.0 chairman Maria Chin Abdullah, who had challenged her detention under the Security Offences and Special Measures Act (Sosma) 2012.
Judicial Commissioner Nordin Hassan ruled that he could not decide on the merits of the application as Maria had been released from detention on Monday.
