SUNGAI PETANI: Five members of the notorious house-breaking "Gang Suria" were nabbed after police opened fire on the suspects in a failed getaway here.

Kedah police chief Comm Datuk Asri Yusoff said Monday police received a call from the public about several suspicious individuals in a car parked next to the Taman Ria Jaya Maybank branch here at about 9am on Sunday.
