450 Filipino illegals deported from Sabah

KOTA KINABALU: A total of 450 illegal immigrants have been sent back to the Philippines after being held for weeks at the Papar and Sandakan temporary detention centres.

State Security Council director Datuk Rodzi Saad said the group, which comprised 254 men, 112 women and 84 children aged between a year and 66-years-old, was deported via the Sandakan jetty on Friday.
