KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian authors should consider having their books translated into other languages to penetrate the global market, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said.

However, they should find translators who are good at capturing the essence of their writing rather than focusing on literal translation, he said.
