Court to hear Guan Eng's application to set aside AG's leave for contempt proceedings Mar 1

KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court here has set March 1 next year to hear an application by Lim Guan Eng to set aside the leave granted to the Attorney-General (AG) to initiate contempt of court proceedings against the Penang Chief Minister over press statements issued in relation to his graft case.

On Friday, High Court (Appellate and Special Powers) judge Justice Hanipah Farikullah fixed the date to hear the application after meeting parties in chambers.
