IPOH: A police inspector and a corporal from the narcotics division here pleaded not guilty to receiving a bribe of RM8,000 from a suspected drug offender as an inducement to close the drug trafficking investigation papers against him.
Insp Mohd Faizal Fauzi, 34, and Kpl V. Ravi Chandran, 49, who were jointly charged under Section 17 (a) of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act at the Sessions Court here yesterday, claimed trial.
