KUALA LUMPUR: The parents of a college student were stunned when policemen turned up at their home in Ipoh to arrest their son for allegedly being a mule for a scamming syndicate.
MCA Public Services and Complaints Department chief Datuk Seri Michael Chong said the 19-year-old had lent his bank account to a “friend” he met online to perform fund transfers.
