SIB’s review application changed to OS

KUALA LUMPUR: A High Court judge has converted the application for judicial review by Sidang Injil Borneo (SIB) in relation to its constitutional right to use the word “Allah” to an originating summons (OS) for expedient and efficient disposal of the case.

An OS is one of two modes used to initiate a civil action and suitable for cases where there is little or no dispute of fact and the parties only raise issues of law or the interpretation of certain terms in a legal document.
