KUALA LUMPUR: Several metal plates of an escalator bounced up during a malfunction at a shopping mall in Pandan Indah here.
Traders there said two shoppers were using the escalator seconds before the mechanical failure, but no injuries were reported in the 12.30pm incident yesterday.
