SETIU: Villagers at Kampung Pelong near here are having sleepless nights after a herd of wild elephants invaded their plantations and caused more than RM100,000 in damage.
The beasts damaged oil palms, sugar cane stalks, and banana trees at the 49ha Meranti and Bukit Gambir plantations.
