Jamil Khir: Jakim to meet Auntie Anne's reps over halal issue

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Islamic Development Department (Jakim) will be meeting representatives of Auntie Anne's later Thursday over the pretzel store franchise’s halal certification, said  Datuk Seri Jamil Khir Baharom (pix).  

Auntie Anne's was recently asked to change the name of its "Pretzel Dog" to "Pretzel Sausage" in order to receive a halal certification.
