Transport Ministry approves RM700mil Mentakab-Tumpat track upgrade

KOTA BARU: Travellers can expect a smoother journey between Mentakab, Pahang and Tumpat, Kelantan after the Transport Ministry approved a RM700mil upgrade to railway tracks between the two towns.

Transport Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai said the track upgrade was needed so newer locomotives could ply the route.
