Wanita Gerakan: Monitor Government projects worth below RM500mil as well


PETALING JAYA: Wanita Gerakan chief Datuk Tan Lian Hoe (pic) has suggested that the Auditor-General and the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) expand its monitoring mechanism to include Government projects worth below RM500mil.

Tan was responding to a recent announcement by Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Dr Ali Hamsa that they had agreed to include the Auditor-General and the MACC in all government projects worth RM500mil and above as a necessary and proactive measure to curb corruption and abuses in the public sector.
