Weak earthquake hits Ranau

KUALA LUMPUR: A weak earthquake measuring 2.4 on the Richter scale hit Ranau, Sabah at 3.58pm Tuesday.

The Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) in a statement said the earthquake epicentre was located 302km northwest of Tarakan, Indonesia and 16km southeast of Ranau.
