PETALING JAYA: Limited fines imposed by the courts are unlikely to deter illegal dental practitioners from stopping their services, said the Malaysian Dental Council.
Its president Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said fines, which did not even amount to 10% of the maximum allowed under the law, would not put off these so-called practitioners.
