MIRI: An explosion is believed to have sparked off a fire at a substation located inside the MLNG plant in Bintulu, causing a mass evacuation of staff and nearby workers.
No one was injured in the fire, which was said to have broken out at the facility – the world’s largest liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant – at 9.40am yesterday. The blaze was put out in under half an hour.
