KOTA KINABALU: The scheduled Aug 1 implementation to check sales of duty-free alcohol and tobacco products in Labuan, Langkawi and Tioman has been postponed by three months.
The Finance Ministry had allowed the postponement to Nov 1 to give more time to the business community and others to counter the proposal aimed at curbing smuggling, said Labuan MP Datuk Rozman Isli.
