KUALA LUMPUR: VVIPs were among gullible Malaysians who fell for a get-rich-quick scam that promised more than 3,000% profit on their investments.
Bukit Aman Commercial Crime Investigations Department (CCID) director Comm Datuk Seri Mortadza Nazerene said that the syndicate known as the “Highway Group”, promised returns of up to 3,242.85% to lure its victims into investing their money.
