JOHOR BARU: Port operators need to upgrade their facilities to ensure they are not left behind due to the increasing global competition, said Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai.
The Transport Minister cited an example, saying that the Port Of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP) needs to plan its third phase of development as it was already doing about nine million TEUs (20-foot equivalent unit).
