HSR made more attractive by the potential business opportunities along its stops

Ripple effect: HSR will generate new trade opportunities and development along the rail corridor as well as connected towns such as Putrajaya, Seremban, Ayer Keroh, Muar, Batu Pahat, Iskandar Puteri and Jurong East in Singapore.

PETALING JAYA: Residents of various towns along the 350km High-Speed Rail (HSR) between Malaysia and Singapore are looking to reap the long-term development and business opportunities which come with the project.

Sunway University Business School’s Professor of Economics Dr Yeah Kim Leng, who moved to Seremban 15 years ago, said faster and better connectivity would make Seremban a place to work, stay and play.
