KUANTAN: The authorities in charge of security have to find ways and means to stop firearms from being smuggled into the country, said Malaysia Crime Prevention Foundation (MCPF) vice-chairman Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye.
He said although the recent spate of gun crimes was not related to Islamic State militancy, the frequency of the incidents had given rise to serious concerns from the public.
