GEORGE TOWN: The state government has been accused of failing to settle the RM70,000 balance pledged for the Penang Chinese New Year Celebration 2016.
Komtar MCA working task force chief Tan Hing Teik (pic) claimed that Ng Wei Aik, who is the organising chairman of the celebration, had promised that the state would allocate RM80,000 to the Penang Chinese Clan Council (PCCC) as expenses.
