PUTRAJAYA: DAP should hold a referendum whether the party members still want Lim Guan Eng to serve as the secretary-general and Penang Chief Minister or step down, says a former Election Commission official.
Gauging party members’ sentiment is the correct way to determine if Lim, who is facing corruption charges should stay on or step down, instead of calling for a snap election, said former Election Commission deputy chairman Datuk Wan Ahmad Wan Omar (pic).
